I feel happy when I make someone feel good.
What do you do to make someone feel good?
~excerpt from Book Two in the I Feel Happy series of children’s picture books
I make up stories I think kids will like because it makes me feel good. It makes me very happy to think I made one of you smile or laugh. Not cry, though. I definitely wouldn’t feel happy if you cried over one of my books!
When you feel happy you want everyone to feel the same way. That’s the way happiness works. But it also works backwards. When you make someone else happy it makes you feel happy, too. Isn’t that amazing?
So the next time you feel down in the dumps do something nice for someone. It is a win-win situation. Or should I say a happy-happy situation?
